No cable. No network. No refit.

01 · The problem

On board, one cable means opening a bulkhead.

On board, every cable is a project. Running one means opening a headliner or a bulkhead, involving the yard, and accepting a schedule measured in weeks. Every watt is counted against a finite supply. And every lit surface argues with an interior where the joinery, the leather and the light were specified to the millimetre. The usual answer is to install nothing at all, and to live with fixed artwork for the life of the vessel.

An ePaper frame, not a screen.

02 · At anchor

At night, the cabin stays dark.

No screen to switch off before sleep, no light bleeding under a door, nothing drawing on the batteries at sea. The frames keep their images through the night, without a watt.

14:00By day, the cabin and the sea.

A yacht cabin in daylight, two Ginko frames on the wooden wall. The same cabin at night: the frames give off no light.

23:30By night, the frames go dark with the cabin, and draw nothing.

03 · In your space

What it looks like, wall by wall.

01

The saloon

The artwork changes with the charter, the guests or the crossing. It is hung on the existing fixing, and nothing behind the panelling was touched to make it possible.

02

The owner’s cabin

A private selection, changed between trips. The frame reads as a framed print, because at rest that is exactly what it is.

03

The FBO lounge

A private terminal holds its identity without a lit panel, on a wall where no electrical supply was ever planned.

04 · What Studio orchestrates here

One tool to rule the whole fleet.

The frame is only the visible part. What makes it work at scale is the ability to decide, once, what appears where and when.

Discover Ginko Studio

  1. Load a voyage’s worth of images before departure, then leave the network behind

  2. Up to 30 images held on board, fully autonomous, with identical battery life

  3. Publish to a fleet of vessels when they are within range, without physical intervention

  4. Group by vessel, by deck or by cabin, and update only what should change

05 · What changes

No infrastructure, no refit, no headliner to open. The object arrives finished and is hung like a picture, which removes the yard from the equation entirely and turns a multi-week works item into an afternoon.
